Perfect Moment Monday: Omaha!

One recent Sunday afternoon my family members and I gathered in our LaZBoy pews, joined our voices in hymns of hope and praise, and communed together with chips and salsa.

Our prayers were answered. The Broncos are going to the Super Bowl!

The last time this happened, neither of my children were born and I was in the TTC trenches (trying to conceive) wondering if I’d ever be a mom. And here I am today sharing this excitement with my two tweens.

Shallow though it may be, I am hoping that this January perfect moment leads to a February perfect moment.

Go Broncos! Keep Calm and Peyt-on!

  1. I don’t usually watch the Super Bowl, but this year I am. It’s one of the guys on my team–the Seahawks that really intrigues me… the first deaf offensive player to ever play in the NFL. His youngest fans are hearing impaired individuals. Whoever wins, you and I will still be friends :).

  2. I never have experienced how a town can be this stoked and super excited and SO full of faith and hope. I was not in New Orleans for the big win they had a few years back but my hometown is New Orleans and I know it meant so much for the City and all… including us who lived here during it. The excitement is overwhelming. GO BRONCOS!
