It’s Show & Tell time again, boys and girls. Today I am going to show you how rotten my parents were to me.
Or maybe this was before scientists discovered that smoking was bad for children.
What brand of tobacco did YOU smoke when you were two?

When I was 2, my dad smoked like a chimney. He finally quit when the cigarette prices were raised to pay for the tobacco settlement. Am I ever happy that law suit happened!>>But you look adorable. Was that taken for or ever used as blackmail material? By either side? 🙂

LOVE the corncob pipe! And the button nose! 😉
Via NaComLeavMo>>Thats adorable! My Mum has a photo of her as a little girl dressed in her brothers football boots, and one of the old fashioned swimming hats! wtf!
That is so funny. I didnt even notice the pipe. The boots stuck out like a sore thumb. I think its cute. Just think of all of the things you have done to the kinds in the name of “cute”. 🙂 Thanks for sharing.
Haha…taking goofy pictures of your kids is a must-do…
That is one of THE most hilarious pictures, you SOOOO have to do that to your kids – even though they’re bigger!
Hahaha, I LOVE it. When I was 2, I snuck behind my grandparents wet bar, and ended up in the hospital getting my stomach pumped–that was my first experience with vodka. >>Yum.>>Love your picture=)

LOL This gives me some good blackmail ideas for my Nati! Minus the pipe of course. Too cute!
I love starting my morning off with a good laugh and your photos did it for me today.>>No smoking in my infanthood. But at a party for my dad’s birthday, the 18 month old me went un-noticed around the room swilling the dregs out of the guests glasses. They only noticed when I kept falling over and laughing like a maniac. Not much has changed.
how cute is this and your family portrait! very special!>mb
Too funny!! Love the family photo also!
That is positively adorable. =)>>My parents preferred to give us candy cigarettes. They gave the stigma of smoking a sweet little aftertaste.

Here via Mel’s Show and Tell.>>Fabulous photo!!! Made my day.
Remember this photo was engineered back before the Internet, cable TV and iPods. Our parents had to find their entertainment where they could. 😉
A PIPE!! Lori that is too hilarious. Thank you for the laugh.>>(A PIPE!!!)>>xoxoxxo
I had those candy cigarettes when I was little. They might be just as bad as the pipe!>>Here from NCLM
Wow, I’d forgotten all about your dad being a pipe smoker. That brought back a whole tapestry of memories–mostly smells and a sense of atmosphere.>>You DO look awful cute!
Look at you – Too cute ..
LOL Very cute! I’m going to have to dig out the picture of me surrounded by liquor bottles that my parents took of me. Apparently I was known to finish off peoples glasses when I was a toddler. And my parents didn’t stop me!!
So after I sprayed ice water all over the monitor, I thought back and tried to remember what brand it was I couldn’t get enough of wayyyyy back when I was two? >>I didn’t even notice the pipe at first – started scrolling down thinking “awwwwwww . . . ” and then started laughing, spraying and falling off my chair!

That’s wonderful. I love it! >>While we don’t smoke at our house, Zozo has already developed a fondness for beer. She is always grabbing at our bottles, but B tells her she has to wait until she’s 4.
Dear, dear Lori. What a fashionista you were even at a young age. >>As for your parents – not monsters – they rightfully recognized that children are solely there for the purpose of dressing them up in embarrassing outfits and taking pictures of them in said outfits. Duh!
Thanks for the chuckle! That picture is just too cute! >>I waited until I was a teenager to cause trouble. Oh well. I guess I lived a pretty boring life in comparison to you.
Umm, that is the cutest picture. Ever.>>Good to see you yesterday!
Popping by from Mel’s Show and Tell.>>When I was 3 I was asked by a friend of the family to take a glass of Peppermint schnapps to my dad. While on the way to him I drank it much to my mothers dismay.>>What a great photo, it brought a smile to my face.
Does it have to be tobacco?>>I can remember going to the local liquor store when I was like 8 and buying smokes for my dad. >>Good times, good times.
I just love that picture.

Too cute! Love the family one too – my family was entirely too serious! Looks like a fun childhood! NCLM
That’s a cute picture, no matter how horrible your parents were. 🙂>>I have a picture of me at 14 months (or so, that’s what it says on the back of the picture) with a beer in hand and my godmother smoking a cigarette right next to me! Sheesh.>>(here from NCLM)

Could be worse. You could be wearing a soft plastic wig with a cigarette in your mouth!>>< HREF="https://www.boingboing.net/2008/06/11/girl-in-a-plastic-wi.html" REL="nofollow">https://www.boingboing.net/2008/06/11/girl-in-a-plastic-wi.html<>
