Perfect Moment Monday: Sprung!

Perfect Moment Monday is about noticing a perfect moment rather than about creating one. Perfect moments can be momentous or ordinary or somewhere in between.

We gather here once a week to engage in mindfulness about something that is right with our world. Everyone is welcome to join. Details on how to participate are at the bottom of this post, complete with bloggy bling.

Please visit the links of the participants at the bottom.
Here’s a perfect moment from my week. I hope you’ll share yours, too.

I’m starting to feel like a One-Note Blogger, but hopefully this will be the last post labeled Surgical Room 19.

Here’s my perfect moment: Nurse Anne is wiping Roger’s name off the board, freeing up Room 19 for the next person who needs to be healed.

On to the next chapter….thankfully!

  1. Yipee!! Your hubby will heal so much more quickly at home, but Don’t Push Yourself Please, Rob/ger, okay? Pretty please?? Thank you!! Gentle ((Hugs)) to you all.

  2. Yay!! : )

I love that you thought to take a picture! (You’re not a scrapbooker by any chance, are you??)

  3. Great news! This means home, right?

    YAY!

But I’m terribly sorry to read about “Peter”.

    My GAWD!!!!!

  4. Wow. I really missed this big event in your life. Sadly, I am not a tweeper and am waaay behind on my blogs.

It sounds like you had a lot of support to get through the rough parts.

I hope the recovery continues to go well.

And your Brady Bunch post was hee-larious. Effin tiki statue.

Just keep breathing. This, too, shall pass.

  5. Hooray! I’m so happy that this chapter is coming to a close. Now your career as home nurse begins. It sounds like Roger is a good patient.

  6. I think you guys should buy a lotto ticket…… you know…… to give the universe an opportunity for reparation…..in case it was feeling bad about the run of bad luck it gave you.

  7. YAY!

You must be very happy to have him home. Hope he continues to heal well. :0)

(If your dh is anything like mine however, gladness might wrestle with a bit of irksomeness – sometimes they are exasperating home care “patients”!)

  8. Glad to hear he’s out!!! I’m sure being home with family will speed his recovery! Take care,

    Paul O

  9. Geez, where was I during this party?! I’m so glad he’s recovered, too…at least I assume he has given it’s been a few months. Can I claim the better-late-then-never title? Had I not been so self-absorbed, you know my well-wishes would have been with you and Rog.
