Perfect Moment Monday is about noticing a perfect moment rather than creating one. Perfect moments can be momentous or ordinary or somewhere in between.
Here’s a perfect moment from my week. I hope you’ll share yours, too.
====================================
It’s back. The rogue sunflower that planted itself last year and inspired these adoption-related thoughts.
It’s so tall it looks me in the eye. Its many blossoms wave me goodbye when I pull out of my driveway. It greets me sunnily when I return. It brings happiness to my yard, my life.

I love sunflowers…my grammie had a rogue sunflower that popped up every year for a few years…it was so beautiful!
Beautiful, strong flower. I love its spirit.
“Brings happiness to your yard.” … For some reason I started thinking of milkshakes and all the boys. =)

Sunflowers! I love them. Like Kir, these and daisies make me joyful. No matter what. So glad there are some rogues in your yard standing tall and wishing you well.
We have a couple of rogue sunflowers too. They seem to stubborn, happy and strong.
I loved your previous post about your garden and your dedication at the end to Tessa and Reed.
Perfect!!
Love the story behind the flower
I love the bright blue sky against the beautiful yellow sunflower! It is so appealing. Beautiful picture and even better b/c they are volunteer sunflowers. I have some like that in the backyard and I love how they just came up out of the compost. Amazing. isn’t it?!?!
