……………………………………….drumroll, please……………………………………

Congratulations to Kathy at Four of a Kind! Her entry, about Melissa Ford‘s book Life from Scratch (don’t you think it should be made into a movie, starring Lea Michele?),  garnered  42% of the 140 votes cast.

Rachel Goldman is learning to cook.
Her blog posts are so “off the hook!”
Mix divorce with cuisine
and lots in between,
find out more, read Mel’s Life from Scratch book.

Marge in Real Life and CabbageNews had lots of fans, too, and I declare everyone who ventured an entry a winner.

With her winnings, Kathy is supporting the book,  A Gift of Time: Continuing Your Pregnancy When Your Baby’s Life is Expected to Be Brief by Amy Kuebelbeck and Dr. Deborah L. Davis. She’s holding a book tour later this month, so click over if you’d like to tune in.

Thanks to each of the entrants and finalists and voters — we’ll do it all again next year.

Happy St Patrick’s Day, peoples.

Thank you Lori for coordinating and hosting! I had a blast and so enjoyed all of the limerick entries! 🙂

Thank you Mel for the inspiration! 🙂

I do think Life from Scratch WILL be a fabulous movie and it is fun to imagine who might play the various roles… I wonder who would be cast as Adam? I don’t know why James Marsden (sp?) just came to my mind. I really liked him in “27 Dresses.” Anyway, that would be pretty cool!
