Coaching

During the long arc of parenting, it’s bound to happen. Adoption will become hard. We find ourselves gobsmacked by a situation we aren’t prepared for. It could be:
- between us and our child (young or grown)
- between our child and a birth parent (present or not)
- between us and a birth parent (present or not)
- within ourself, within our child (young or grown), or within a birthparent.
No wonder! These connections are complicated, murky, and emotionally charged. I can help. In person (Denver area) and Zoom option available.
NEW: Lori has completed the training to become Adoption-Competent Certified through the Center for Adoption Support and Education (C.A.S.E.).

As we navigate the early years of our open adoption, Lori is a wonderful coach. She has such practical wisdom to share; time and again she has helped us thoughtfully troubleshoot complex challenges. In our sessions, she keeps us grounded and adoptee-centered, boosts our morale and lifts our spirits.
We deeply value Lori’s expert perspective, and always leave our conversations feeling like we can go the distance on our adoption journey.
