in Denver, Family

Due to Mother Nature’s recent cold flash, I am subjecting you to another slide show, so soon after the last.

(By the way, Manly Man is not Roger. He’s a guy we saw at the sledding hill. As far as I could tell, he was not high.)

Also, for those of you who were worried, I GOT MORE WINE!

We had a BLAST, and I laughed my abs off. Snow days CAN be fun when you’re all grown up.

While that looks like great fun, it’s just too early for sledding! I object! No, make that: I am thankful that the weather system is presenting itself as rain in my area!

Yep, River is the australian cattle dog I was referring to. I’ve been partial to the breed ever since getting him :) I was curious if the dog in the pic was one too because he has very similar coloring.

Love the pics :) Is the dog an australian cattle dog? He looks very similar to mine. My dog absolutely adores the snow!

Looks pretty but I am not ready for snow.

My kids would be jealous, our snow already melted.
I don’t understand the need to freeze in the cold to feel invigorated. I feel pretty good after a good drink. I’ll stick with that.
Sledding looks like fun and I’m glad you got more wine.

Yeah, manly man looks like crazy man. The idea of sledding for a couple of hours is appealing but after that I’m done with snow. So glad it’s not all in my yard.

Loved the slide show! Good for you for going out yesterday! We were hunkered down waiting for the sun. Me thinks all those who braved the weather to get to the sledding hill (and to get wine) had more fun. :-)

how fun! I cannot wait til the kiddos are old enough to actually enjoy more than just kicking the snow and throwing it in the air. :D

We stayed in yesterday since the kids have the tail end of a bad cold…sigh…

I’m SO glad the sun is shining today, and I keep hearing the whoosh and thump of the snow sliding off the rooftop

A snow day already… oh my! I guess that’s Colorado for you! I’m hoping we get a good snow a time or two here in Seattle. Or at least a white Christmas when we visit Michigan. Love that white fluffy stuff! (Other than driving in it, of course.)
