Perfect Moment Monday: Bask

It’s very difficult to pluck just one perfect moment from the past 48 hours, so I’ll choose the one that has a photo to go with it.

Saturday was a magical day. I woke up in Melissa‘s home and drank coffee while hanging out with Josh and the twins. Melissa and I then hit the road for her very special place, Shepherdstown, home of the Little House. We dined, we gabbed, we basked in the day’s perfection.

Shepherdstown is now my very special place, too.

After driving through Harpers Ferry and stopping for water ice with ChickieNob and the Wolvog, I met Lindsay to attend and Ingrid Michaelson concert. It wasn’t just awesome, it was Jauss-ome.

And this morning, Lindsay, Mel and I met Paz, Calliope, and m for brunch. Sitting in the presence of women I’ve longed to meet for so long was absolutely wonderful.

I feel I might burst from the sheer volume of all this perfection.

But I won’t.
