Show & Tell: If Reed had a blog

Subtitle: what do you get when you put Weird Al Yankovic in a blender with Star Wars, American Pie, the Kinks, and a transgendered person ?

I asked Reed what he would put on a blog if he had one. Here is his answer.

Both are worth watching clear to the end, even if you’re not a 5 year old boy.

And this one:

Reed and I enjoy watching these together (for different reasons, I’m sure). Al Yankovic is brilliant. ODDly brilliant, but brilliant nonetheless. Methinks I have a little crush.

To see what the rest of the class is showing and telling, go to Mel of Show & Tell.

  1. One of my coworkers took his 11-year-old son to a Weird Al concert. He returned from the concert shocked to report that it wasn’t all 11-year-olds there — plenty of people from every age group.DH and I were singing Eat It in the car just last night. Actually I was singing and he was correcting my lyrics.

  2. Great show and tell! DH is going to LOVE this when he gets up- he loves Star Wars and I love Weird Al!

  3. My DH and I watched the first clip together and he commented that Weird Al looks younger in that than he did in his Madonna spoofs all those years ago. “Like a Surgeon” will always remind me of fourth grade. 🙂

  4. Ohmigosh – Al gets a LOT of airplay at chez moi. We like “White and Nerdy” Donny Osmond cracks me up. :0)

  5. I was on a plane with Weird Al once. Very exciting. Especially since I was in high school at the time. I was such a nerd. (AM such a nerd???)

  6. Oh man, I love me some Weird Al! I wonder if he knows what sort of following he has in the 30-and-over crowd of women!xoFlicka
