Show & Tell: Bonne 400th anniversaire, Québec

I’m in the lovely city of Quebec for a meeting. The fall is stunning, and I was able to take some time for sightseeing. Here are 7 city scenes.

(I particularly like the place to unwind at the end of the day, the Fou Bar.)

Thanks for the slideshow!I assume you know that Fou de Roy means court jester, but literally it would translate to Crazy Guy of the King.

I seriously wanted to hate Quebec because that’s what we Albertans do. But when I went out there about seven years ago, I was wowowowowed by Montreal and was shocked that people were actually kind to me!

I was there briefly (like, 6 hours) on business in the middle of February about 15+ years ago. It was freezing cold & I STILL fell in love with the place! I would love to get back there with dh one of these days & spend more time there. (But not in February.)

I’ve never been to Quebec City, just Montreal – so beautiful. Did you speak a lot of French?
