Being Open Means

While strolling with my sister-in-law in Amherst, MA last summer, I photographed a flag that signaled its boutique was open. Last month I found the words I wanted to put with the image.

  1. I love that, both the lesser need to defend your own truth AND the curiosity about someone else’s truth. If only more people took this to heart there would be SO MUCH LESS conflict in the world. On both grand and smaller scales! Beautiful thought.

  2. For whatever reason, it made me cry. A “good cry”, an ‘Aha!” cry but teary all the same.
