Crystal’s debut on MomTV (and she ROCKS it!)

Tessa’s first mom, Crystal, joined me on Adoption Angles last week on MomTV.

Some of you participated in the live webcast and plied us with the most important things to get us through the hour.

No, not glasses of wine.

Questions! Thanks for keeping our conversation moving by asking us the fantastic questions you did.

And thanks to Melissa of Our Full Circle for hosting and producing. I highly recommend that you tune in each Wednesday evening, 9 pm EST, for her show and her guests.

Crystal and I tell about how we ended up at the same agency at the same time, how it felt for each of us during that first meeting, how we have built our open adoption relationships, why she chose us (we were not her first choice, and I never miss an opportunity to tease her about that), our hopes and dreams and fears for Tessa, and Crystal’s relationship with Reed.

We hope you enjoy watching as much as we enjoyed bantering.

Don’t forget to check out the limericks and VOTE.

  2. How amazing to see you and Crystal together in that webcast. So many people will benefit from you sharing this with the world. Well done!!!

  3. So fun to see you interacting, to see where T gets some of her mannerisms, and to hear another perspective on some familiar stories!

  4. I am in awe of the relationship that you and Crystal have and love that you are both so open and willing to discuss it as a means of inspiring others to strive for a similar model in adoption.

  5. Yes – thank you so much for sharing your stories with us! They are so very inspiring and I am grateful experience part of the ‘behind the scenes’ of open adoption that you really don’t hear much about.

  6. I watched this twice tonight.

And as an adoptee (from a closed adoption) I am so grateful for the perspective you both bring to this, and the hard work you do advocating for open adoption.

    Thank you, Crystal and Lori.
