At yoga yesterday I was able to get into a Bird of Paradise pose for the first time.
Even though I hardly resembled this woman (my upper leg was not straight and I was not vertical), I am still pleased because I got into my first balancing bind.
It’s taken a year and a half of practice. I am learning to surrender and be gentle with myself. But Gawwd, is it slow.

Onto matters of the mind and memory. Apparently I have kept a lid on my lid and not one of you read my mind for this round of trivia. No one got it on the first clue.
So I get to put out another, which I’ll do each day until someone guesses correctly, about this object from the 1970s. One guess per person per day and no googling.
Don’t forget to add this bling to your blog when you play. You can either copy the image and link to this hyperlink, or get the code here.
If you win, you get upgraded from Player bling to Winner bling. Yippee! You’ll join a club with other Smart Chicks like Mel, M, Niobe and Millie (I don’t think your name has to start with an ‘M’ or an ‘N’ to win, but I’m not sure).
What we know so far is that it’s an object. It is not a slushy, Fun Dip, gum, a store, a gumball machine or Bazooka Joe. Ready for the next clue?
Clue #1: convenience store
Clue #2: monthly

I feel like it has to be a contest that was run in the 70s.>>Something with gasoline! Was there a monthly contest with gasoline?>>Can you tell that gas prices are on my mind?
The first thing that came to mind was Bingo! No idea why though.

I’ve enjoyed yoga classes before, but I was always the loser in back who couldn’t come close to what I was supposed to be doing. >>No freaking clue about the clue, though.
